World Gin Day is celebrated on June 11th and can be celebrated by gin lovers or anyone looking for an intro to gin! Not sure what kind of cocktails to make? We have shared a few of our favorites.
Cranberry Fizz
Ingredients
- 1 part Hendrick’s Gin
- 2 parts cranberry juice
- 1 part sparkling wine
- Cucumber slices, mint sprig & cranberries to garnish
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice, and lightly stir.
- Garnish with cucumber slices, mint sprig, and cranberries.
Gin & Tonic
Ingredients
- 1 part Bombay Sapphire Vapour Infused London Dry Gin
- 3 parts tonic water
- 3 rounds of cucumber
- Cucumber to garnish
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a highball glass filled with cubed ice and lightly stir.
- Garnish with three thinly sliced rounds of cucumber and serve.
Rosemary Gin Gimlet
Ingredients
- 3 ounces of Empress 1908 Original Indigo Gin
- ¾ ounce rosemary simple syrup (see below for how to make)
- 1 lime
- Rosemary sprigs for garnish
Instructions
Rosemary Simple Syrup
- Combine a ½ cup of sugar and a ½ cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce to a simmer. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and add in a handful of rosemary sprigs. Let the rosemary infuse into the mixture for 15 minutes.
- Once the simple syrup has cooled down, remove the rosemary sprigs from the mixture and store the simple syrup in a cruet.
Rosemary Gin Gimlet
- Combine gin, rosemary simple syrup, and the juice of one lime in a cocktail shaker. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake thoroughly.
- Strain the drink into a coupe cocktail glass. Garnish with a rosemary sprig.
