Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka (or your spirit of choice!)
  • 4 oz tomato juice
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 dashes hot sauce (to taste)
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch smoked paprika (optional, for depth)
  • Ice cubes

Garnish (mix and match):

  • Celery stalk
  • Lemon wedge
  • Pickled green bean, okra, or asparagus
  • Skewered olives (classic or stuffed)
  • Optional: crisp bacon strip or cucumber ribbon

Directions

  1. Rim the glass (optional): Run a lemon wedge along the rim and dip into celery salt or Old Bay seasoning.
  2. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  3. In a shaker (or directly in the glass), combine the vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire, hot sauce, and seasonings.
  4. Stir well to blend the flavors.
  5. Garnish to your liking with a balance of savory and fresh.
