Our Favorite Merlot and Zinfandel Wines

November 7th is National Merlot Day and November 19th is National Zinfandel Day. To celebrate these two fine wines, we’ve gathered a few of our favorites to share with you! If you’ve never tried either of these wines, you definitely should. Both varieties offer something unique (and delicious) to the world of wine!

Merlot is a beautiful medium-bodied red wine. It typically has flavors of cherry, plum, and raspberry. Most Merlot wines have a beautiful finish and slight tannins, making it an easy to drink red wine.

Zinfandel wines typically have higher alcohol levels and are bolder and heavier-bodied. They are often ever so slightly sweeter than most red wines and also offer flavors of jam and berries with hints of smoke.
