The beautiful Gilmanton Winery farm, located in Gilmanton, New Hampshire, sits on just under nine acres of land. The vineyard was established in the fall of 2006 with two hundred Seyval and Concord grapes. Since then, they have added more vines and new varieties including Aurora, Maréchal Foch, Marquette, and Reliance.
Getting the Grapes Ready
In the month of April, you can find Marshall pruning their seven hundred grapevines. As June rolls around, it becomes time to do regular upkeep of the vines, which includes putting up wire, repairing old wire, and maintaining the irrigation system. In the month of July, they do all the pest control maintenance, and by late August, they are checking the sugar content to predict when it will be harvest time! The grapes are then harvested usually around late September, which involves a very busy day for their team.

Throughout the year, the winery also hosts brunches, dinners, weddings, and bus tours, as well as private parties.
