Cocktail No. 1: PX Old Fashioned
Glass: Lowball
Ingredients:
- 1¾ oz Dingle Whiskey
- 1 tsp PX (Pedro Ximénez sherry)
- 1 brown sugar cube
- 2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
- Orange peel
- Ice
Instructions:
- Place the brown sugar cube in the lowball glass and add 2 dashes of Angostura Aromatic Bitters.
- Muddle gently until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the Dingle Whiskey and PX.
- Express the orange peel over the glass and drop it in.
- Add ice and stir slowly until well chilled.
Cocktail No. 2: The Highball Italiano
Glass: Highball
Ingredients:
- 1¾ oz Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin with Italian Fig & Laurel
- ½ oz elderflower syrup
- 2 tsp sherry
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- Soda water, to top (about 3 oz)
- Ice
- Fresh mint sprig
Instructions:
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Add the gin, elderflower syrup, sherry and fresh lemon juice.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Top with soda water.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
