1 in 5 children struggles with food insecurity in the United States. In an effort to end this problem, we’ve partnered with End 68 Hours of Hunger which is a public non-profit effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school Friday and the free breakfast they receive in school Monday.
During the months of September and October, all of our New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet locations will be accepting food donations which we will then give to End 68 Hours of Hunger. The food items being accepted are:
Peanut butter (plastic, 10–18oz. jars)
Canned tuna (5 oz. cans)
Canned fruit (14–16oz. cans)
Canned soup (15–19oz. cans)
Employees of The New Hampshire Liquor Commission and the NH Liquor & Wine Outlets are dedicated to serving the state of New Hampshire and bettering the lives of Granite Staters. Please, join us this fall as we work to help children in need!
