For many whiskey drinkers, a Jack & Coke is a staple mixed drink, something you can order at just about any restaurant or bar and rest assured that your drink will come out just right, every time. The only element of this mixed drink that’s left up to the discretion of whoever is doing the mixing? The Jack-to-Coke ratio. However, with a new offering, Jack Daniel’s is taking that element out of the equation, with a pre-mixed Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola product that’s just right, every time, straight from the can.
The Coca-Cola Company and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey collaboration first launched last year, with the drink rolling out in tourist destinations in Mexico over the winter. Now, this spring, the canned, 7% ABV beverage makes its way to the United States, to the delight of Jack & Coke fans across the country.
“We are excited to introduce the quintessential Jack & Coke cocktail to consumers in a consistent, convenient and portable format,” said Dallas Cheatham, Jack Daniel’s ready-to-drink brand director. “While Jack & Coke is a cocktail [that] consumers have known and enjoyed across the world, with origins dating back more than a century, we are proud to officially launch Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola…and bring these two iconic brands together in a [ready-to-drink] format for the first time in the United States.”

At The Coca-Cola Company, brand director Michelle Kisner shares Cheatham’s excitement, saying, “We put our customers at the forefront of everything we do, and we are excited for Jack Daniel’s to offer people this classic cocktail in a new and exciting way.”
But what if your drink of choice is a Jack & Diet rather than a Jack & Coke? Well, there’s good news for you, too. The Coca-Cola and Jack Daniel’s partnership continues as the new product spreads to other markets throughout 2023, along with the introduction of a Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola ready-to-drink beverage featuring Coca-Cola Zero-Sugar, coming out in May.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on the Coca-Cola Zero- Sugar version of this drink, mix up your own Jack & Diet at your home bar cart, modifying Jack Daniel’s classic Jack & Coke recipe. Jack Daniel’s recommends adding two ounces of Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 to cubed ice in a highball glass, before topping the mixture with Coke, Diet Coke, or Coca-Cola Zero-Sugar). An iconic, smooth, and refreshing combination that makes for an ideal beverage for the spring and summer!
