Toast to the New Year with a Mocktail!

‘Tis the season… for mocktails! For the fourth year in a row, the New Hampshire Liquor Commission is teaming up with Brown-Forman to bring Mocktail Month back to New Hampshire. Nearly 70 restaurants across the state have crafted unique and delicious mocktails to add to their menus this January – and you don’t want to miss out.

With more consumers choosing to not consume alcohol or to pause drinking, it’s important there are flavorful alcohol-free options available on menus. New Hampshire Mocktail Month redefines the way we socialize and celebrate without the need for spirits and helps build a more inclusive drinking culture.

Join NHLC and the Brown-Forman brands, Jack Daniel’s, Herradura, Korbel and Chambord, that are taking part in the movement.

Be Your Own Bartender

Enjoying mocktails goes beyond the walls of local bars and restaurants, which is why we created an extensive online NH Mocktail Month Recipe Guide. For those interested in mixing their own alcohol-free libations at home, recipes from each participating restaurant, with all ingredients, garnishes and tips needed, are available in the Recipe Guide. Cocktail variations of each drink are also available for those who would like to imbibe.

Live Free & Host Responsibly

NH Mocktail Month is the latest evolution of “Live Free & Host Responsibly,” an award-winning, multi-year collaboration between NHLC and Brown-Forman, one of the largest American-owned spirits and wine companies. The program was launched in 2016 to promote responsible service and consumption of alcohol.

“Our partnership with Brown-Forman and its brands allows us to educate consumers about the responsible use of alcohol,” said New Hampshire Liquor Commission Chairman Joseph Mollica. “New Hampshire Mocktail Month helps create a safer drinking environment for those choosing not to imbibe. We are proud to team up with Brown-Forman and dozens of New Hampshire restaurants to encourage responsible consumption.”
