Meet the Makers: Hermit Woods Winery

Their Story

Hermit Woods Winery is in the quaint lakeside town of Meredith, New Hampshire. The winery came to be when Bob Manley, Ken Hardcastle, and Chuck Lawrence formed a partnership around a shared vision of producing the highest quality wines made from locally grown fruit and raw honey. They also operate a small organic vineyard in Sanbornton, New Hampshire, where they work with local farmers and pickers to find the best fresh fruit to make their wines. They have many wines in production, including apple, crabapple, blueberry, mead, kiwi, peach, pear, blackberry, and elderberry. With so many options and sourcing stories, it’s often said around the winery that every sip of wine tells a different story!
