Of the 50 whiskies that go into Crown Royal’s award-winning blend, the whisky from the Coffey Rye Still showcases flavorful creamy notes combined with rich oak undertones from maturing in American oak barrelsthat gives the whisky a smoothness that is unmistakably the heart of the Crown Royal blend. The name maintains the long standing Canadian tradition of referring to whiskies with small amounts of very flavorful rye as simple “rye”.
Each barrel yields 15 to 20 cases and at 6 of our stores you will be able to see the barrel that your bottles were patiently aged in.
