This January, we’re raising a mocktail to the 10th anniversary of “Live Free and Host Responsibly,” a statewide initiative to promote the responsible sale, service and consumption of alcohol in partnership with Brown-Forman. In celebration of this incredible milestone, we are bringing NH Mocktail Month back to the Granite State. Dozens of local restaurants are joining in on the fun by adding delicious and creative mocktails to their menus, available throughout January.
Ring in the new year responsibly alongside the NH Liquor Commission and Brown-Forman’s family of brands, including Jack Daniel’s, Herradura, El Jimador, Woodford Reserve, Old Forester, DiplomaticoRum, Ford’s Gin and Chambord.

NH Mocktail Month is the latest evolution of “Live Free & Host Responsibly,” an award-winning, decade-long collaboration between NHLC and Brown-Forman, one of the largest American-owned spirits and wine companies, dedicated to promoting safe and responsible choices.
“Live Free & Host Responsibly” started as a dedicated web page offering tips for responsible serving and hosting, cocktail and mocktail recipe videos emphasizing moderation, downloadable recipes and resource guides for New Hampshire bar and restaurant owners. Building on that foundation, NHLC and Brown-Forman introduced its “Cocktail & Mocktail Competition,” which ran until 2018, before the first NH Mocktail Month was launched in January 2019.
